ABOUT ME

5 words to describe me. I am truly culinary challenged.

My mom shoos me out of the kitchen. My significant other hinted that I should keep on to my heels and boardroom meetings. And my daughter just simply tells me straight up that, “Daddy’s cooking is nicer!”

But here’s the thing. I have a hugely inflated ego much to my husband’s chagrin. I need to be able to cook at least better than ‘Daddy’! J

In the movie Ratatouille, Chef Gusteau's famous quote is “Anyone can cook. Not everyone can become a great cook, but you and I, everyone can cook if we try.”

Hence, TRY I SHALL.

And so…my journey of the culinary world begins. And inspired by the revolutionary easy breezy cooking by Mr Jamie Oliver, I will try to attempt 100 of Mr Oliver’s recipes in 6 months.

I shall then be able to conclude if anyone can truly cook even if we TRY. Well, at least to cook better than 'Daddy'!!
